What people ask here
Will I be charged as soon as I set this up?
No. Setting up the mandate takes ₹0. Your bank only records permission. The first deduction runs after your seven-day trial ends.
Why is auto-pay necessary at all?
So your website, ordering and WhatsApp never stop mid-month while an invoice is chased. It also means no one from our side has to call you every month for payment.
Is auto-debit safe?
Yes. E-mandates are regulated by the RBI and run through your own bank. We never see or store your netbanking or card credentials, and the mandate is capped at the amount shown above.
Can you deduct more than the amount shown?
No. The mandate is registered with a fixed cap. Anything above it would need your approval again.
How do I cancel it?
From your FoodPe dashboard, or directly with your bank. Once cancelled, no further amount is deducted — and your website and ordering are paused.
What if a deduction fails?
Your bank retries it, and we message you on your WhatsApp group. Service continues while it is being sorted out.
Message your account manager and we will set it up on a call.
